Annie Lederman along with another female student were questioned by the court on what took place. She became friendly with a number of students who were involved with illegal activity, like drug sales. After graduation of high school at age of 17, Annie Lederman spent the next year volunteering, first teaching dolphins Hawaii before being employed by a non-profit organisation located in Central America aiding disadvantaged children.
