Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born into an ethnically mixed family. The mother of her child is English and her father Nigerian. She was raised on a council estate south of London. In the ages of 14she enrolled in The Brit School. In London she attended The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which her acting diploma was obtained. During her time at the academy, she performed in a number of stage productions such as King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career with the movie Storm Damage. In the years since she has appeared in Teachers as well as Doctors. Madekwe's breakthrough came in 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was in the role of Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. Following this acclaim, she appeared as Elisha on The BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and was featured for six seasons Trexx and Flipside. Also, the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl featured her in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe was a star in the comedy of 2008 How to Alienate and Lose Friends. Performance credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe made her US debut on the Drama series The Beautiful Life, which just aired two episodes in the US on The CW before being cancelled. In February of 2011, she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe starred as a regular character on the drama series on ABC Revenge in two episodes. The show was announced in May 2013 that she was set to be leaving the series following one guest appearance on the very first series of the 3rd. On the show Salem the actress played Tituba in 2014 through 2016. Madekwe and her boyfriend who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. They collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Goldberg also appeared with her on Salem.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress, was raised in a huge family in Hamilton, Ontario. She was raised by both parents Roy and Patty along with four brothers who were older than them: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's brothers were athletic and played baseball in summer and hockey during winters. Ashley didn't walk, instead she was a dancer. At age two and half, she found Baby Ballet. Ashley was addicted to dance immediately. Ashley continued to perform competitively through high school graduation, in top divisions such as tap, Jazz, Ballet Pointe, Acrobatics, Pointe Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop and many more. Top soloists at important competitions like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, were all awarded to Ashley.
